Good strikeout to walk ratio though. Only 26. I think it’s a worthwhile gamble. And prospects are just lottery tickets. I suspect Elias isn’t done yet. I’ve got to believe he’s going to make another trade and sign a few more FAs

The difference is that Baz has actually pitched the last 2 seasons. I think it’s a rotation depth kind of deal. If he slots in as the 4th or 5th starter that allows Wells to move between the pen and the rotation.

As someone who lived in Garrett County Md many moons ago, this is the least surprising thing I’ve ever seen. WV is the leading example in voting against self interest in this country. The absolute ignorance is jarring. If Byrd wasn’t their senator, every bridge would’ve collapsed by now
