I actually just recently had a reminder of this because I read about someone being weird about children’s hospitals and my mental response was, “Did he never read Little Women? And Madeline? And Great Expectations?” And then I remembered that there are people who just… didn’t read, and still don’t.

I got hit on my bike once by another bike and got a concussion and neck sprain. AirPods in, dark clothes, no hand signals, and tried to turn left in the middle of the street after I shouted “Bike passing on your left,” twice. I’m super loud and bright when biking! I’m not spraining my neck again!
