This is a great thread, though I can't help pedantically pointing out that symbol grounding is not a problem for computer science per se, but rather for the popular folk theory/ conceit of cognitive science that cognition consists in nothing but symbol manipulation (aka "computation").

Personally not a fan of Newsom, but I do hope other elected dems will follow the trail he is blazing of trolling not just the narcissistic nitwit at the top, but all of MAGA and its sick aesthetic. THESE PEOPLE ARE WEIRD AND MUST BE MERCILESSLY MOCKED.
