Yeah. I was scrolling TikTok and saw a video from someone who took the New York bar exam and she shared her experience. I wasn’t surprised that bar examiners could be so cold about an emergency, but I was deeply saddened.

I just heard that someone had a heart attack during the New York bar exam and the proctor didn’t stop the test and told test takers they would not get additional time.

Luckily I am an impoverished government employee, so I haven’t had money to invest. Take that stock market crash!! Me to stock market: your crash can’t hurt me, I can’t afford to invest.

Here in LA we recently voted against a number of problematic amendments to our state constitution and my parish vote to keep paying taxes to fund public libraries.

Thank you!! It is rough to be sure. Many of us are watching our leaders and coworkers be fired without cause. We are being interrupted from work to read policy memos letting us know that federal employees are lazy and leach off taxpayers and we’re then expected to just return to being productive.
