Yesterday, I got my Dog Fix!
Having a dog isn’t an option right now though I love dogs. I arrived for a photo job early and, while having coffee, I was made welcome by this beautiful dog. It was a good day.

A few of my favourite Faces in the Crowd at Rugby World Cup matches… there will be more
September 11, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Unless I get lucky for the quarter-finals, this might be my last weekend on the #RugbyWorldCup - we'll see.
It's been a privilege to watch teams who’ve travelled across the world give their all & to hear the welcome & appreciation from fans.
Safe travels to those heading home #rugbycommunity

A tenet of Fascism is keep repeating lies and people will become so confused about what is the truth that they’ll start to believe them. We all have a responsibility to keep repeating the truth in the face of politically-motivated lying. Don’t just roll your eyes, speak up.

The study finds the ECHR is frequently misreported in deportation cases, fueling misconceptions that erode trust in the legal system.

We all remember being at school at things getting properly rowdy & out of hand… anarchic, loud & inappropriate… The *that* teacher came in and roared “ENOUGH!” and sensible order was resumed.
Where is *that* teacher when we need them most?

It’s a bit of a standing joke that, when shooting rugby, tries are *always* scored where I am not… until today when ireland played Japan in the Women’s Rugby World Cup…

It strikes me that anything that might (even slightly) dent some millionaire’s profits is deemed socialist (like that’s a bad thing 🙄)….
Anyone taking bets that there’ll be McCarthy-like Unamerican Hearings before September?

Time was, if you were a proven liar & an habitual spreader of bullshit then you would be shunned and lose any credibility….
We now have bought-and-paid-for media whose only interests are clicks & pleasing their paymasters.
Truth & decency no longer matters in public life, it seems.

Parasitical corporations urge insurance-based healthcare, governments in the clutch of those who gather data which will be used to deny/delay care when people are in need. The parasites get rich & the rest of us will suffer. They don’t want you healthy, they want your money.

Last week I had a student with me on work experience. As we packed away I couldn’t resist doing the photographer version of sending the apprentice to the stores for a Long Stand… I asked him to fold up the big backdrop.

An event for Northampton Town Council celebrate the 125th anniversary of the bandstand. The first photo was early in the day before the park filled & the sun got to work.
It reminded me of the Sunday concerts in Harlow where all ages gathered, listened to music & picnics enjoyed #nostalgia
