Well, didn't know an old friend of mine was a contributing member of Held in Trees. Likewise, an old college mate has been the drummer in Aussie punk band the Saints for the past few decades 🤯

What @bsky.app needs is a clearer verification process for organisations and media. Strongly suspect that is what is stopping those big beasts coming here - but if that is provided I can totally see this App eclipsing Twitter for good.

Good news for grassroots venues. About time. Just. This morning, the Government has backed recommendations for a levy on tickets sold for stadium and arena concerts, which would go into a fund to support the grassroots live music sector.
