We didn't have tickets for Friday night's show but the band guest listed us after our friends asked😭😭😭

So rowdy and fun and drunk. Ate at Fuel Pizza afterwards and got ready to head back home.

This was such a fun trip I love North Carolina and my spouse and friends and music :) thx for looking

Friday after hitting The Hobbyist for breakfast (plz go it's the coolest coffee shop ever) we went to The Mint in the Uptown area. Here's some sculptures/glass art we saw that I was super into :)

Thursday Brett and I went to the Mint museum in the Randolph area. They had a skateboard exhibit as well as some fiber art on temporary display. As well as some gorgeous sculptures and paintings. Part 1 of 2!!

Same night we also stopped by a tiki bar called The Royal Tot where me and my friend got offered Barback shifts lmao. Didn't take drink pics but we did fuck their Jenga up pretty good.

Final stop was The Thirsty Beaver which was a killer dive bar with a mop sink as a hand sink in the bathroom 10/10

Had a really good vacation going to Charlotte, NC with my spouse & friends so here's a lil photo dump :)

We went to Super Abari and loved it! Small but solid arcade bar with awesome rhythm games & big tetris & solid drinks. Wish we had found time to go back a second time but alas

Andy The Doorbum performing an acoustic set at The Milestone on Charlotte, North Carolina. His dog, Hams, is sitting on the stage next to him on a mattress. Looking at my note of 2025 New Year's resolutions and I'll give myself a solid 7/10 on effort for this year 💪

Go volunteer, hang out with someone you don't know that well, don't people please and embrace the conflict that comes from being yourself Spend more time with spouse and the animals. Man sometimes I forget how much my back tattoo has changed my body confidence. My artist posted it on her account today and it reminded me! As someone with bad acne scarring, I hated my back. And yeah this shit fucking hurt but, outside of top surgery, is probs the best things I've done for myself.

Wrote a poem a while back about being queer and visiting your confused but well-intentioned family in the deep south and decided to turn it into a zine

This is my first time ever putting any writing out there - I hope you enjoy it <3
