I joined my colleagues in sending a letter to USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins demanding answers on recent USDA firings. These layoffs threaten USDA’s ability to address avian flu, process farm loans, and disaster relief, and distribute grants for rural infrastructure & services. This is unacceptable.

House Republicans just set the stage to slash Medicaid for millions of Americans to pay for the Trump Tax Scam.
 
They promised they wouldn’t touch it and now they’re backtracking to take away health care from moms, babies, and seniors. Don’t be silent on this — make yourself heard.

The GOP budget rips funding away from programs that feed seniors, veterans, and children, programs that provide babies and families with health care, and programs that keep folks warm in the winter.

Why?

To give tax breaks to his rich friends and donors in the Trump Tax Scam 2.0.

President Trump just fired:

• 90 physicians
• 350 nurses
• at least 25 nurse practitioners
• nearly 20 dentists
• 85+ pharmacists
• 45 lab techs

All employed by the Indian Health Service to provide health care. This is going to have dangerous consequences for our Indigenous brothers and sisters.

Last night, I voted NO on Russell Vought to lead the Budget Office.

Before he was confirmed, he already plunged our country into chaos and confusion with his extreme policies. Our country and New Mexicans deserve better than this.
