Trump now says he didn’t mean his “punishable by death” remark as a threat. Given this summer’s political violence, his denial is as reckless as the remark itself.

Orwell warned us about leaders who tell you to ignore your own eyes and ears.

Sorry, Mr. President. We’re not ignoring anything.

When federal support falls short, New Mexico steps up — that's our commitment to families who depend on these services. This funding protects the basics: food security, affordable health care, and public broadcasting.

When I ran for governor, I promised to make New Mexico more affordable to raise a family. Thanks to @voguemagazine.bsky.social for highlighting how universal child care delivers on that promise. Starting Nov. 1, no-cost care is reality. #UniversalChildCare

Today @notredame.bsky.social, I joined my friend, Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox, for a chat about putting pragmatism over politics and restoring civility to our discourse. Thank you to everyone involved in planning this hopeful event. To borrow Gov. Cox’s phrase, let’s all try to “Disagree Better!”

This is what leadership looks like in New Mexico – creating opportunities for our children, lowering costs for families, and improving pay for the workforce. This is a big deal for New Mexico’s children, parents, and families!
We did it, New Mexico! Yesterday we made history as the first state in the nation to guarantee no-cost child care for every family. This is a game-changer for parents, kids, and communities across our state—and a blueprint for the nation.

Why?

To give tax breaks to his rich friends and donors in the Trump Tax Scam 2.0.

President Trump just fired:

• 90 physicians
• 350 nurses
• at least 25 nurse practitioners
• nearly 20 dentists
• 85+ pharmacists
• 45 lab techs

All employed by the Indian Health Service to provide health care. This is going to have dangerous consequences for our Indigenous brothers and sisters.
