The DLCC fundraising tactics are highly confusing to people who are not very plugged into party politics.
This “renew your membership” or “pending renewal” stuff undermines red-state organizing efforts, and works against actual party building and membership that build political power for local orgs

The 52 AmeriCorps members in Knoxville served more than 30 community organizations and nonprofits. The defunding of community service by the Trump administration continues to hit East TN hard.

Shame on Tim Burchett for his vote on the destructive Republican budget that will require cuts to programs like Medicaid and SNAP. This vote takes food off children's plates and cuts their medical coverage. Burchett has given up on being a representative for his community. No spine, no heart.

Rep. Burchett responded to our protest saying he wants a balanced budget, but DOGE isn’t about a balanced budget. That money isn’t coming back to taxpayers. If they cut Medicaid and SNAP then Burchett is taking medical coverage and food from East TN families to give tax breaks to billionaires.

Proud to endorse @votegloriaj.bsky.social for Chair of the Tennessee Democratic Party. Gloria is one of the primary reasons I got into politics, and she helped build KCDP into what it is today. She’s inspired countless people to use their voice for their communities and would be an excellent Chair.
