The fledglings' last day huddled together. Carol & Wayne were hollering at them for the past two days to get a move on & VACATE. This afternoon they finally did. Excited for them but sad to see them leave. Hoping the hawk that showed up doesn't find any of them. Stay safe, my little friends🤞 #birds

A face only a mother could love, but I'm glad to see the babies have hatched and mama bird is able to leave the nest again. Sitting in that nest 24/7 had to be hella boring- LOL #birds #carolinawren

Turns out I'm also hosting a tufted titmouse, along with the Carolina wrens by my front door, eastern bluebirds that return to the same birdhouse each year, & woodpeckers that bore a hole in the birdhouse they staked a claim to. This is either the coolest thing or how I'll end up dying of bird flu.

Turns out I'm also hosting a tufted titmouse, along with the Carolina wrens by my front door, eastern bluebirds that return to the same birdhouse each year, & woodpeckers that bore a hole in the birdhouse they staked a claim to. This is either the coolest thing or how I'll end up dying of bird flu.

Low-key excited that my "new neighbors" have decided to start a little family in one of my hanging plants by my front door.
Here's hoping the little ones don't have any mishaps after they hatch and face plant on the pavers below when learning to fly! 🤞
