It's a difficult thing to get right. I struggled with it too.. maybe try a simpler font and see how it goes? This doesn't always work for me but I'd check games with UIs you like and see what they are using.

Interesting stuff! I know this might be a temp font, it looks nice but it's hard to read the screenshot there. I think if you play around with the font weight it it would improve the readability.

I think it most likely is something like that. I did try the pure input but maybe it was getting transformed by something and I wasn't seeing it. Thanks for following up!
