But if there is no peak, it doesn't necessarily mean that there is no oscillatory activity in the form of bursts. Connectivity may still be oscillation-based, but oscillations are just not sustained (like in beta range, for example).

Q. You show that not all parcels have identifiable peaks. But I feel that claiming that there is no connectivity because of that (or that connectivity is based on aperiodic component) is a bit of a stretch. Can you comment on that?
