Seen at Best Buy in Richmond BC. You can buy a “retro” microwave with an Atomic Age aesthetic. But the atomic age was the 50s/60s. And I recall that microwaves only entered homes from the 1970s onward. So it’s not retro, it’s atomic-punk. It’s a nerd/cool crossover item.

It’s okay. Let’s just keep the other three heirs away from any large puddles and electrical cables during group photos.

There are gonna be a bunch of people today asking their partners what channel on the television connects to video output. Has anyone already coined the phrase “Channel 1 Protest”?

I’m happy to establish that I am not a bot. However, I think “confirm humanity” is the wrong turn of phrase. Like, are they asking if I’m grounded in The Great Conversation? If so, I don’t think a click-box would suffice.

And you can write down your best hacks with real ink and repeat the same win many months later. As in “1.5 times the specified amount of fish sauce, sugar, and green curry paste.” Also, scale for 4 servings versus 6 versus 2.

I did in fact switch to the frozen OJ last week because the fresh OJ was not only too expensive in Canada, but also wasn’t on the shelves. Even when I do buy American, I spend less. It was for pork caritas anyway, so maybe Mexico should get my money for the winter-time produce.

Hi folks! Can you please help me figure out it DJT has committed an elections act violation for campaigning on election day? And presuming he won’t actually be charged of a violation, could this be evidence that can get Truth Social in trouble with the CRTC? As in, banned in Canada.

Can we have some agreement that this fist gesture is not a sign of resistance, but rather an indication of where his hand is when he gets is puppets to say what he wants them to say.

Journalists and editors, please don’t do this. Imaginary Numbers means one thing only. This HuffPo headline gives the impression that Musk is trying to improve our understanding of the square root of minus one. That would not be something to get worked up about.

Interesting. We already knew that cisgender is flagged on Twitter as offensive speech. But I told them it was a test, and they STILL sprang the trap. Where is the talent, where is the skill? Even the time share people can mix good drinks.

I got my record player working and then re-purchased the first LP I bought in my early teens. Tom Waits, Swordfishtrombones. Touched my roots.
