I will be thinking about my great uncle Private John Cripps, who served in the Hampshire Regiment until he was killed in 1944 whilst fighting in Normandy. He was just 19 years old.

This my great grandfather, Private Walter Bourne who joined the army in 1907 and served as a stretcher-bearer until he was captured in 1916.

That’s it, all the planned 4125 bulbs have been planted as well as an additional 2500 daffodil bulbs that we had to somehow to find space for.
Just need to give my back and knees a rest and relax with a glass of wine
