Light orange cups, found in April 2025 on blackened, resinous wood on a dead conifer stump.

Identity recently confirmed by DNA analysis. A new species for Norfolk.

I could tell you this magnificently autumnal staghorn sumac was in the historic gardens at some stately pile out in the country, but it was actually in the carpark at Aldi 🌱😀
