We regularly see both kites and buzzards from our South Shropshire kitchen window and neither seems predominant. We also see little egrets, sparrowhawks, lots of pheasants and the occasional pair of F-15s en route between Lakenheath and the Mach loop in Wales.

I've also grown up using two spaces and I'm certainly not going to take advice from any source that calls a full stop a period!

If successive governments had kept control of departments they could have organised effective data sharing. Instead the people who should be in charge are subservient to the ministries that they should be directing.

This is very significant but if effective information recording and sharing was in place it would be easy to prove or refute these claims with firm statistics reported directly from the data.

There's a lot wrong with the way modern technology is being used but it's giving us live views of a volcano erupting 15000 Km away.

They may not be corvids but they hang out and murmurate with the local rooks around here (Church Stretton, South Shropshire).

Is there a hint of aurora there? There's supposed to have been some high activity tonight although I'd assumed that the moon and cloud would conspire to hide it.

I'm not an expert but I imagine that it's because in this case "Budget" is a proper noun, referring to a specific event.
