Oh, also while I'm thinking about it, Dandadan is definitely anime of the season for me. Caught up this last weekend. I'm weekly on the manga right now so I knew episode 7 was gonna be a big moment going into it, but science saru really knocked that out of the park. Hop on if you're not already.

Watched a lot of anime over the weekend with my partner (the wonderful @sketcheddy.bsky.social) and boy summertime rendering would've been better if it was only 12 episodes. Everything in the second cour (so far, we're halfway through) has been pretty rough compared to the first one.

Been replaying some Recettear lately (thanks mel) and while I do really think it's a fun little bit of design especially given how novel the idea was when it first dropped, once you get an idea of where the numbers are, the game kinda shows how thin it can be. Still a great way to waste an hour or 2
