Blatant corruption on full display.

In what sense is this *not* naked corruption/bribery?
Nigel Farage used an LBC appearance in September to accuse the Bank of England of being “dinosaurs” for seeking to place restrictions on the use of Stablecoins by crypto firms like Tether.

He did not declare that Reform had just received a £9 million donation from one of its biggest investors

So tell me again how Nigel Farage, who just took the largest ever political donation, from a Tory mega-donor, and another donation from the Viscountess wife of the non-dom owner of the Daily Mail, is planning to "take on the establishment"

Rather than report biased junk as many do, assuming the reason is whatever policy you don’t like, a reporter from the i Newspaper had the radical idea to actually ask those leaving why they're leaving.

What did they say? 👇2/9
I've interviewed expats all over the world - this is why people are leaving the UK
Living in Lisbon, my body is no longer in fight-or-flight mode. Other expats who have left London for warmer, safer climates feel the same

Sky‑high living costs 💸🏙️
Childcare they can’t afford 👶💰❌
Burnout & poor work/life balance 😩💻⏰
Rising crime 🚨
Far‑right racism 😡
…and yes, the weather 🌧️☔🌪️

Notice what they didn't say:

❌Because taxes are too high
❌There’s too many immigrants

In fact, higher taxes would help fix nearly every problem on the list (except rainy summers).

⚡️Better investment in infrastructure = cheaper bills
🏥🏫Better public services = better lives for families
🔒Better social security = less crime & less fertile ground for racism

Unlike the debunked “millionaire exodus”, Britain’s young workers really are leaving in droves— 174,000+ since March 2024.

The motor of our economy walking away is a crisis that really should worry us.

🧵So, why are they leaving and how can we stop it? 1/9

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

Our government tried to let racist, genocidal Israeli football hooligans rampage on Birmingham's streets.

They smeared those opposed to this as being driven by hatred of Jewish people.

Now listen to what the West Midlands Chief Constable told MPs.

What a scandal.

It's all bad but hadn't seen the bit where Farage says:

"The European Union is the prototype for the New World Order."

That is a seriously, deeply problematic term that taps into Illuminati and antisemitic conspiracy theories.

How the fuck did this man direct the course of our politics?
