It's Inktober eve! Finished an old Mab's Drawlloween 2023 prompt for day 10 - Pumpkin. Was done but never quite happy with the skeleton. So to get over myself and nitpicking it, I went after it with Pitt fine liners and brush markers.

Finishing up some artist trading coins at a new-to-me coffee shop. So far so good; the coffee is excellent and the triple chocolate muffin is wonderful. Cat Island Coffeehouse definitely fills the T-bones Cafe hole in my soul.

Poking around in the garden again today. Picked another handful of Sungolds and a rough looking Cherokee Purple. Then there was the menagerie: a Milkweed Assassin bug, Swallowtail caterpillar and a yellow garden spider.

Finally got around to editing photos from my Earth Day tradition. Folks from all the area casinos that face Deer Island join with the local power company's "Renew Our Rivers" clean up campaign and try to de-trash the island.

I'm actually really surprised that we had one of the protest marches here. Even though the MS Gulf Coast is somewhat more liberal than the rest of the state, it is still pretty red.

I really don't need another hobby but I have a vision of crochet dish scrubbies, so I will attempt to make one myself.
