... because not everyone would've made it out alive with what I've been through. And in that process of caring too much, I end up forgetting to care about myself and then anxiety goes haywire from minor thoughts.

I often care too much about others wellbeing while sacrificing my own wellbeing if that makes sense? I've got a history of suicide attempts and I've made it a goal to make sure no one gets as low as I have been...

I realise I may be stepping on some toes here and that my anxiety-ridden brain may be telling me lies but I have to get this out for my own sake.

.. it isn't always me that have to reach out. I also sometime think I have to give gifts to keep friendships. But in the end those small gifts is also my way of showing "I think you're great and I really appreciate you." And I dont expect anything back, ever. I just want to be liked.
