Sometimes knitting is fun and relaxing.
Sometimes, I keep dropping my god damn stitches! And while doing garter stitch! Agh!

Spent yesterday plying up some handspun yarn and trying to avoid anything else.

I've been spinning yarn on my EEW nano e-spinner to convince myself I don't need to buy a treadle spinning wheel. (It's not working)

I started knitting the Korshavn vest about a week ago.

I currently have the audacity to think I might get it finished and blocked before xmas/hannukah day 1. We shall see.

My fitbit can automatically track exercises if it thinks I'm working out for 15+ minutes.

It thinks I was on the elliptical earlier. I was actually winding yarn onto a cone.

Third pair of socks off the knitting machine, and my self striping yarn made some wonderful opposites!
Two knit socks in stripes of yellows and oranges alternating with stripes of purples and blues. The socks are lined up to demonstrate that the warm colors on one sock line up with the cool colors of the other.

I just ordered a library card. I've been back In Madison for like 2 years, but always figured it'd be a bit of a hassle.

But I went to look up what the requirements were, turns out I just had to fill an online form and they'll send it right to me!

Machine knitting is definitely a unique skill to normal knitting, but I'm happy to report I've successfully made a pair!!

Since he ended up in both my icon and banner photos, I thought I should properly introduce Pumpernickel.

He's about 3.5 years old, a rescue, and he loves to yell for absolutely no reason.
