Pleased to have played my part in getting this landmark legislation on the statute book!
Today we are celebrating ONE YEAR of Safe Access Zones around abortion clinics in England and Wales 👏👏

Safe Access Zones are fundamental to accessing and providing safe, confidential abortion care free from intimidation and anti-choice harassment.

@thisisyourparty.bsky.social Hi there, if my nearest regional assembly (south London, but I think there should be a West London one!) is booked out, is there a waiting list I can join? Or should I take a risk and show as inevitably some people won't attend? Thank you.

Such a thrill to see @suedehq.bsky.social last night on Jools Holland. They kicked off the show with 'Dancing with the Europeans' and closed the show with 'Disintegrate'. I could sense how much Brett wanted to jump up on the monitors. He also asked the audience to "sing it!" during DwtE!

After a really powerful local meeting in Southall last week, I'm getting more excited. It's inspiring to start fresh. It was eye-opening to learn there that not even legendary activist Suresh Grover (active since the 70s) had joined a political party until now! www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
