It does not, and remains an outstanding question. I'm not aware of how the bylaw is enforced, either. This is just where the city points you if you ask.

AFAIK, the HTA is currently regulating "power assist bicycles" but not sure if speed/odo-meter is part of "good working order"

In the City's "Safety Guide for Cyclists" they suggest a Park by-law applies a 20km/h speed limit to all MUPs

If it's just for cargo, Muli has some great options (including acoustic compact front loaders):

As already mentioned, the R&M carries is an amazing pedal-assist option with a locking box option:

Private companies and HOAs are already way ahead of the curve in terms of automated surveillance of cars with ALPRs/ANPRs and liberal ideas of "open-source intelligence".

Agreed! The only thing really holding it back is the fractured/obscure nature of side street bike lanes e.g. trying to replace the crush capacity 63 Ossington requires walking a half block to a north side bike share, somehow crossing to the southside EB Bloor bike lane then riding a block to Shaw...

Replacing downtown surface transit with Bike Share Trips really feels like a cheat code!

Who else does London and Singapore charge for access to downtown roads?

"wtf you mean "AI" powered?" is a critical question.

People will demand humans produce examples of experience, credentials etc., but don't bother with a parallel process for interrogating AI

That was the latest trick. Hubert Horan covers Uber's financial history pretty extensively at multiple outlets

It's pretty awful. You can feel the attempt save as much money as possible.

I took a Miway bus for the first time last weekend, the combination of long headway, a random 10 min layover and bizarre stop spacing left me so confused. Felt actively designed to punish transit users.

(The 5 bus that goes to Long Branch GO for reference)
