Once upon a time, when I was a teenager, Scott Adams wrote a comic strip that made me laugh and think. That was a very long time ago, and in the years since, he became exactly the kind of craven, hypocritical, logically dubious, and evil person he used to mock in his strip.

We owe him nothing.

I honestly think the #VAR officials are deliberately fucking it up because they hate VAR and the way it removes so much (profitable) subjectivity from their powers, and they want to discredit it.

The Premier League's KMI Panel makes judgements on every key decisions. Here's what they say the VAR has got wrong.

Wait you're telling me Harris knew Trump would do this and she STILL threw the fucking election?

The issue with this would be that Trump might see it as a deal he can accept.
An Austrian NATO official sent a blunt warning to Washington: Touch Greenland & Europe seizes US bases.

Gunther Fehlinger says if the US annexes Greenland, every American base in Europe—from Germany to Italy to Romania—would be confiscated, ending decades of U.S. military power on the continent.

The offence and defence on an NFL team play for the same side. It's like that. They do different jobs but they're aiming at the same result.
Having served in multiple countries run by ruthless dictators, I am accustomed to their tactics for keeping their populations under control. One of them is to employ a legion of fake opposition figures who promote the false narrative that "all parties are the same, so why bother voting?"

This is not a new phenomenon. It's how the US got to this point.
It amazes me that the vast majority of Americans are now saying there is something wrong with the current government, the leadership and policies...and yet the media is simply reporting things as if the insanity is normal and everyone condones it.
They don't

'my wife, the poet'

so it turns out my wife is a poet
in all her passions and wyrds
and philosophies, layered

i always dreamt desperately
of being a poet
but now i see the difference

turns out i’m a spreadsheets kinda guy
and my wife is the poet,
and i’m married to her

All of this because the "strong Black woman" helped build up the fascist paramilitary knowing what it was and how it would be used.

Then threw an easily winnable election by offering nothing but "eat shit" politics, and handed the fash power with a big, smug smirk on her face.
All this because they couldn’t vote for a strong Black woman...

'shocks'

bang and the light
stutters in and away
like a god
disappearing from clouds!

as the afterglow dark
rises triumphant
for my loved ones

i pray
everything precious
to us
is earthed

because lighting
strikes twice
when it can.

and it has.
and it has!
