Why doesn’t the U.S. switch to the metric system? It’s more logical and widely used worldwide!
world measurements:
10 millimeters = 1 centimeter
100 centimeters = 1 meter
1000 meters = 1 kilometer

united states measurements:
11 inches = $5 footlong
3 footlongs = about a yard
100 yards = a football field
2 football fields = the legally required distance after "the incident"
