This is so farcical. We all engage in discussion here on subjects that don't immediately affect our lives! And it affects Tom Nichols the least! If this administration decides to start wielding DHS agents on a larger swathe of legal immigrants and nationalized citizens, it affects me more than him!

I think if civil servants want to do good work in this country but half the country is politically dedicated to your suffering, you're gonna have to start fighting.

That Tom shouldn't be being a pedantic prick about calling people fascists when that's exactly what they're aiming for. He puts more energy into being that kind of prick than on Trump. "It's not a fascist state, they're just trying to make one" is the fucking stupidest valley to die in.
