I love living in DC for so many reasons. But one of the big ones is, I can sleep at night trusting that the vast majority of my neighbors share my basic values. This is a nice example of what I mean by that

Feels like NPR Tiny Desk Concerts are a natural extension for old people who grew up with MTV Unplugged.
To follow up on some earlier snark, behold, a cross-peen hammer I cleaned up. Removed the head and de-rusted. Glued cracks in handle to stabilize, scrubbed and degreased. Oiled to restore life to wood. Reassembled. Put in a wood wedge to replace roofing nails. Waxed for protection and feel.

Sometimes my interest in tools collides with my interest in old design samples. I found this old pack of wet/dry polishing paper, after the packaging caught my eye. The logo puts it in 1954. Still full of paper. I never knew the origin of 3M's name. "Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Co."

My suggestion : The opposition needs to take actions - any actions - that break the pace and force the administration instead to react... Put them on the defensive. 2/2

My belief is that the administration plan is to move fast, break things, get attention, and worry about consequences later. Who cares if a court rules against you in 2 weeks if you broke everything already. 1/2
