Now here's some #ancient shit for you. This is the beautiful standing stone Clach Ard, c7-8 century AD. It's one of only 2 known #Pictish carved stones on #Skye, in the hamlet of Tote. #travel #scotland #ancienthistory We have no idea what the symbols mean. . .could be profound or "Bob wuz here"

Visited the amazing Faery Glen on #Skye this morning. I highly recommend going as early as possible. Having five minutes of people-free meditation time above the knoll was the blissful recharge I needed. #travelsky #scotland #witchsky #fairies

I'm oddly fascinated with ancient sewer systems. The small rectangular opening is the sewage outflow from the #Roman town at modern Carwent, #Wales, coming through the outer town walls. 2022. Keep in mind this is about 1800 years old! #ancientsky #history #archaeology #travelsky
