Mrs. Wimbletwim has written to me previously about finding the figure of Jesus Christ in a jam spill and has long been hoping for another sighting. Much to her shock, however, upon cutting into a fresh English muffin last Tuesday morning, she found not the Lord’s face, nor even the voids and bubbles that give a good English muffin its texture, but the entire text of Anna Karenina (Garnett’s translation) printed in the crumb.

unexpected best stationery purchase of the past year: this Traveler’s Notebook brass clip which makes journalling just a little bit more ergonomic (but that little bit adds up cause I use it every day to hold the pages open/flat)
