I remember once, probably ~15 years ago now, there was this Sonic 3 arrangement album that had the most haunting and arresting version of Lava Reef Zone you could imagine and the comments were just full of rubes who hated it because they couldn't parse the original in it. Annoys me to this day.

Just finished Shin Megami Tensei V and I was... mostly unimpressed, but the music was pretty great throughout.

"Durr the left and the right are both criticising me so I must be balanced" is probably the fallacy I find most frustrating because it is SO obviously stupid. So immediately, entirely, and egregiously brain dead. So when very senior people at the BBC trot it out it makes very angry they have jobs.
