Consistent spew of lies.
As of right now, Beverly Hills is completely unaffected by the fires.
Trump: I know those areas very well. I have many friends living in those houses. That is a true tragedy. Nobody ever thought -- I mean virtually Beverly Hills and areas around Beverly an are being decimated.

I want to get some feedback from people that may think different from me. In college, professors taught me about tariffs. Does anyone really think the companies will eat the costs of the tariffs or pass them along to consumers? Walmart and several others will not. How hard is this to understand?

@governor.ca.gov how do we help and volunteer assistance?

I look at this as the same as we did for the Indonesian tsunami.
All, I want to put together donations to California fire victims. Canned foods, diapers, adult products, underwear, water, clothing. I’m not sure of the best way to coordinate, but want to avoid the red tape. My contribution starts at 500 but we need other people and comps to magnify it. Thoughts?

I’m unsurprised that the far right is mad at Musk’s comments. Because no matter how many times Trumpers say they only care about cracking down on “illegals,” it’s not true: These hardliners are against foreigners of all kinds, including the ones who “get in line” and come here “the right way.”

As for the specific visas Musk referred to (H1Bs), research suggests they are associated with more job creation for native-born Americas; losing out on these visas is associated with more offshoring of other U.S. jobs. www.nber.org/papers/w27538
