It had an interesting world setup: alternate world history where witches helped the humans thrive until they found science & outgrew their caretakers.

This should be renamed to "How NOT to Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History". She doesn't even have a plan. She's just winging it and, of course, winning hearts left & right. It's so paint-by-numbers. Her shenanigans can't save this show. And neither can Takehito Koyasu's voice. 😭

Rewatched S2 because I had a 10 billion percent craving only to remember that the next season was in fact finished, so watched the connecting episode and S3 parts 1 & 2 as well. Senku is such husband material. Too bad I'll probably have to look up fanfics for any romance. (￣□￣)

A year-ish ago I dropped the manga a few chapters in because it was mediocre (no interesting tropes or unique twists, characters weren't unlikable but neither did they possess that charm that instantly hooks you). The anime was pretty much the same yet managed to feel slightly less mediocre.

(｡♥‿♥｡) I am absolutely IN LOVE with this manga: Firefly Wedding. Has Yakuza Fiance vibes but historical. Hell no to these types of psychotic MLs IRL but on paper? You can trust the devotion is real. ( ✧≖ ͜ʖ≖)

This title was misleading, she cares way too much LOL. And yet, I love her. I love him. I love their interactions. I love her perspective and the way she uses her learned skills from her repeated lifetimes. I love everything. ( ˘ ³˘)♥

Solo Leveling S1 was fantastic! As a webtoon reader (& lover), I was frankly terrified but tried to remain cautiously optimistic. I was not let down! ヽ(•‿•)ノ In fact, my only complaints for the anime were the same complaints I had for the webtoon.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless is a relaxing laid-back slice of life. I did like nearly all the characters and there were several jokes that were very amusing but... this isn't my preferred genre.

For a badass immortal, this woman gets her ass kicked a lot. But I think that might have been the point. There was a ton of violence, gore, torture, nudity & sex. It had a distinct darkly erotic vibe with a heavy male gaze that I just did NOT like. 👎

Finished Rin-ne S1. Having experience with InuYasha & Ranma 1/2, I expect my feelings to barely change, if at all, after watching the next 2 seasons.

Rewatched Lovely Complex 1st time in dub & bluray & still loved it.

I am enjoying R.O.D -THE TV- way more than I thought I would! Partially because the middle schoolers both sound and act like middle schoolers & partially because the ditzy older sisters + the grumpy author are an entertaining mix of responsible & irresponsible adults.

I really liked Read or Die (OVA). It's a strange mix of superpowered secret organization & sci-fi but it was well done. I also really liked the MCs deceptively simple powers. What can she do with those 2 bills? A lot.

This anime left such an impression on me even though I first saw it about 2 decades ago. Why? Because of this man... This man is in 4 or 5 scenes total & he wets his pants twice. TWICE. This man is the American President. Do not watch this OVA if you are super patriotic.

So I know this MC is supposed to be viewed as an extreme book lover.... but can you really call this true book love?? The dust, the bugs, the temperature & moisture control! Cramming them into a suitcase so small they burst out! @-@;;

Alright, I'm digging into nostalgia territory because my bunny has some anime marked "watched" on his list but he/we saw them so long ago he/we don't remember them well enough to rate them fairly. Here's to hoping they withstand the test of time.
