She was raised to believe “he” (whoever he was) would have complete control over her.. from birth. She was never given autonomy. Don’t blame her. She doesn’t “allow” this, she doesn’t know choice, or voice, and never has. Trauma washing. 💯

I still fought him in court. I still wished for him to leave. I still put up a fence, and I blocked his home on the camera left by our old owners. …but I didn’t wish him ill will. I bear her no ill will. Hate is too much work.

Loving your neighbor means making sure your neighbor isn’t hungry. Loving your neighbor means making sure they have heat. Loving your neighbor means making sure they have clean drinking water too. Loving your neighbor is radical when there is so much hate. Love your neighbor.

A type of peace. I still didn’t trust him. I still didn’t like him. A couple weeks after the “peace” he died, of a heart attack. The people he worked with made sure his partner had her driveway plowed, so she didn’t have to do it. Loving your neighbor means I’ll be reaching out if I see her out..
