Include disabled people in all resistance efforts.

We are one of the only minority groups you can join at any time. We have experience in resisting, surviving and fighting systems of oppression.

It’s not difficult to include us. Wear a mask. Ensure accessibility. Provide rides & places to sit.

Each year on March 25 we commemorate the anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. This tragic event took the lives of 146 mostly young, immigrant women workers in 1911.

Report from jail block:

Dinner was not served last night.

Lunch did not come by today.
Those who get special lunches got their food.

Starve some inmates while feeding others. What a way to get ppl to turn against each other.

This is why you should sponsor inmates' meals!

Walmart on Walton: NOT #ADA, #DEIA compliant in Las Cruces. I keep having to go into traffic just to enter the store. Pallets are ALWAYS blocking wheelchair access from sidewalk
Most of Las Cruces is not ADA. Cities/towns need to get up to code!!!

Just heard that Trump is putting an end to atmospheric monitoring site NY67 that is run out of my lab. This is one of the oldest NADP sites in the US, continually measuring acid rain and other pollutants since 1977. Closing it down is tragic.

Be so radical, that your actions make someone question themselves. They want to take your soup, add your of bread.

Simultaneously: use mutual support to make sure your community stays warm, fed, supported and housed. Tough times. Boycotts hurt workers too. #MutualAid #TogetherWeFight

Did you learn about the women who helped the Flint #SitdownStrikers in 1937? My education seemed to have skipped the entire #Strike, but especially the role of #WomensEmergencyBrigade in keeping the strike alive and ultimately forcing the hands of #GM to pay the workers!
Women and the Flint sit-down strike of 1937
The Flint, Mich., sit-down strike achieved victory 78 years ago on Feb. 11, 1937. After a 44-day occupation of General Motors plants, the company was forced to recognize the United Auto Workers. Crit...

Love your neighbor. — Yes, that does mean even a neighbor you disagree with politically. We had a neighbor attack us, via the court system— that he was a part of. I was scared. It was a freak accident. A child’s mistake, and a power-trip. It was resolved. We were vindicated. Months later, we made..

Good. Also, what took you so long? Chop chop.
“Since Republicans are too spineless to face their own constituents, Democrats will do it for them. Starting this weekend, we're heading into red districts in every state to hold in-person town halls and listen to voters who are mad as hell at what Trump, Musk, and the GOP are doing to this country”

Another conversation with Liberty: Performance activism is fun, and entertaining.. but without action, the performance is empty and meaningless. Wear the red lipstick. Paint your nails red. …if you don’t also make sure you call, write, and join the resistance with your skills - What is the point?

Teaching Liberty that standing up for what you believe in, can cost you a lot. It can cost you your friends; your family; your job; your home; and ultimately your life. There are costs for holding and living your values. Make sure you stand with those who are worth dying for.

Airlines, do better. Disabled fliers deserve to have their ability to move around, their “legs” transported safely.
"airlines have also challenged a recent requirement that carriers disclose fees for checked bags and changing/canceling reservations"

They filed in 5th Circuit because 12/17 judges were sat by Rep presidents. They are likely to get what they want and we'll all suffer because of their greed.
Airlines look to remove consumer protections for travelers who use wheelchairs.
