I cannot imagine working at an office in the mid-south right now. Already short staffed, 3 days in a row of severe weather after a terrible tornado outbreak. Damage surveys to do as well

Each day knowing that the Rizzler and his family make more money in a day than I do in a month brings me closer to the brink. It won’t be long before I’m chasing 2% days in Maine just to feel something

Yes I’m afraid the rumors are true. The SPC decides how many tornadoes there will be each day. To keep the SPC gods pleased, you must perform ritual sacrifice of a radiosonde twice per day.

So the plan here is to shut down social security until judges let DOGE have access to all data? Are we actually serious? A missed payment would be catastrophic for seniors

Feels like the people who ask me about a severe weather event are either sending me a Facebook post calling for the biggest tornado outbreak ever, or they’re asking me why their weather app rain probability changed. I’ll never understand why it’s so hard to get the public to consume real forecasts

“Medicaid and Medicare has too much waste fraud and abuse”. There’s actually a lot of truth to that. The thing is, the waste and fraud is done by scammers or shady doctors. They lie saying they provided care or medical supplies that they didn’t. So the way to fix it is to hire more auditors lol

As someone who is in this industry for a living, this would be devastating. Like the worst crisis in American medical history devastating. Like so earth shattering Republicans wouldn’t win an election for 2 decades. It won’t happen, at least congressionally
