The RPG is finicky but not THAT finicky. I really don't understand this and that's coming from someone that personally runs that software for every radar site.

LEVEL-3 RADAR DATA OUTAGE - UPDATE...
The NCF is restarting processes at each radar site to resume
Level-3 radar dataflow to impacted sites.

Sounds like the Radar Product Generator (RPG) at these sites suffered an anomaly which is highly unusual.

It's an NWS issue with Level 3, not specific to the radar sites.
KCYS is down. KFTG is not.
