I would argue that communism has been weaponized just as much as capitalism. No one system of government is perfect, and any ideology can be manipulated to fit the needs of a corrupt power.

I agree we need to win hearts and minds. Unfortunately it's never going to be an easy problem to solve.

I don't live in a city, so I know how little choice there is. The choice to use "small business" is a lot harder now. Only because the choice was made a generation ago. We're just living with the consequence. Agree with you about capitalism, need a competent government to deal with it.

The problem isn't just the capitalist oligarchs. It's also the willing consumption and self identification with cheap goods and cheaper values. They choose Amazon, Walmart, and McDonald's.

I'm just going to guess that most of the leaks happened because they believed it would help bring Nixon down. That won't be the case this time. It's already been proven that no one will be held accountable except for the leaker.
