It's been a while since I've watched this and I really didn't remember how odd it is.
The atmosphere is all weird and almost dreamlike, the characters are all psychics and just bonkers.
The puppets are well animated.
Barely any story.
You'd never guess it spawned 14 sequels 🤷

It's been a while since I've watched this and I really didn't remember how odd it is.

A really well done movie with outstanding effects that knows exactly what it wants to be and pulls it off flawlessly.
Definitely recommended if you like a fun and funny b-movie.

What is out there is a very meta, self aware film years before Scream officially came up with that.
Sadly it's not more fun bc of it. Meta horror never worked for me and this didn't break the tradition.
