I am not familiar with the story mentioned but just the other day we were talking about the difference between good writing & a good story and how there need to be re-writes of stories the way there are remakes of songs (not “reinterpretations” just straight up someone else writing the exact plot)

The one that I think is normal but gets big weird reactions from people is that no one person should be able to own more than two houses as “residential properties” & that for there should be no for-profit rental housing (including apartments & “college housing”)

I mean, sure, I agree that there’s a difference. But I disagree that this difference is important enough to merit serious discussion. Both are illegal. Both are immoral.
There’s also a difference between murdering someone with a hammer & murdering someone with a gun. So what if there’s a difference?
