Those tech giants avoid a huge amount of tax worldwide. And then we see them rent Venice. They pay for Trump’s inauguration etc in exchange for his bullying the countries where they pay no tax on the profits they earn there.

It’ll cost taxpayers around $1M or so, to hold a byelection in #BattleRiverCrowfoot, so that taxpayers can continue to fund Poilievre’s lifestyle in a taxpayer paid mansion, chauffeur, cook, as well as his LOO salary. In addition to PP bilking taxpayers millions/yr to campaign for himself nonstop.

2) Growth measures (cont'd)

on corp taxes:

- reaffirmed accelerated depreciation renewal from December's FES. I'm glad then-Minister Freeland pushed for this in FES. Glad Mr. Carney continuing it.

In my view this is biggest tax 'bang for buck' tax measure on the table, and I'm glad to see it.
