It’ll cost taxpayers around $1M or so, to hold a byelection in #BattleRiverCrowfoot, so that taxpayers can continue to fund Poilievre’s lifestyle in a taxpayer paid mansion, chauffeur, cook, as well as his LOO salary. In addition to PP bilking taxpayers millions/yr to campaign for himself nonstop.

- reaffirmed accelerated depreciation renewal from December's FES. I'm glad then-Minister Freeland pushed for this in FES. Glad Mr. Carney continuing it.

Incredibly, in his abrupt reversal on trade policy, Trump seemingly just *increased* tariffs on Mexico and Canada to 10%.
Until today, the U.S. has only had 25% tariffs on Canadian steel, aluminium, and autos, plus 10% on energy and potash. (With the caveat that it's 0% for USMCA-compliant trade.)

What I noticed watching Poilievre today. He smiled a lot more, when he usually smirks. So a more positive stance He repeated his favourite phrases. He failed utterly when asked why he hasn’t got a security clearance. The latter matters to me a lot
