Charity shop find of the day (or week, month etc.). Don’t know much about Cimar guitars, but looks to be a Japanese Ibanez cheapo thing. A bit battered, but only 10 tho. Quick cleanup/restring/truss rod adjustment & it sounds pretty good
Spent the week travelling & in hospital, along with a long day - as Mark Eitzel sang - ‘walking in circles in a waiting room’.

Took a guitar maintenance course, now - after 30 years of playing - I’m not terrified of breaking them & can actually set up a guitar.

Now sat on the couch idly playing the Little Wing intro, wondering how 15 yo me played it on a strat copy with a ropey neck (answer: practice & no social media)
Now playing. A recent £1 find. Had ignored most JH posthumous stuff tbh & the genesis of this sounds like a total car crash (probably a drop in the ocean when we see what AI is gonna do w/most deceased artist’s legacy).
