But what happens when you hit a problem it can't help you with? I mean, as a kid, you just have to trust it.
I'm conflicted, as it would be great in 80% of cases, but what about that 20%?

What would be more depressing. Being alone or being the most advanced?

They're not even selfies. She's made other people take photos of her doing this! Sicko.

What are you optimising for?

This is good. Now if you could recreate it with more of a Spectrum flavour, without it descending into loading screen screeching, I would be truely impressed. 😅🤘 Bleep Bloop.

It would be great if you could provide some use-case and definition of what you mean by BFF. I've worked in this area, so I'm interested, but I fear my experience is biasing me towards thinking I know what context you are talking about.

It clearly needs to be more parallelised. Add a GPU. Trust me.

The show needs to come with a map. But the part where the innie and outie communicate via video recorder was an inspired concept. It felt like the whole show was a vehicle to arrive at that moment.

Any chance of boosting my odds if I ask nicely 😀 I'm looking for some fun exercises to inspire my daughter and these would be great.

As a Brit, I don't understand why such a banal ad is getting traction?

Well, if we want to split hairs, it's hacktually about engineers spending countless days in meetings to understand requirements and then splitting those up into a thousand little pieces (JIRA tickets) and then failing to achieve the end goal and being left with a ton of tech debt, plus FTPing Excels
March 4, 2025 at 10:42 AM
Nope. It's about getting the right information into an Excel spreadsheet, and then FTPing it somewhere 😜

So it finally runs Doom?

Hmm, I should check that...

Also turns out, Microsoft Family considers Chrome to be "unsafe" so explicitly blocks it being installed. 🤯 The 8yo was not impressed with me.
February 24, 2025 at 11:28 AM
I had the opposite problem to this with my 8yo. I locked down the laptop so the school couldn't install random shit on it. The kid said she needed Chrome. I didn't believe her (pff, any modern browser will be fine, here's Brave). Turns out they do need Chrome, cause Google profile is required 😐
