I would have flagged offside, but they just showed the fringe of the defender’s shirt played him on. It’s ridiculous that VAR has come to this.

Wow, talk about an unreliable narrator!

I think there’s different kinds of authors. I have a thousand ideas, but not the will to write them. And burnout and distraction are very real.

The author I mentioned said she treats it like a job. Every day she writes regardless of what’s going on. That would be hard for me, but it works for her.

Just today I found an author who had interviews going back several years, lauding her for being so prolific. None of them asked her how she could possibly write in several different genres, or how she wrote about 100 books over the last two years.

I know an author who has published a 50-60k book every month for about 10 years. Me, I’ve published 8 30k novellas in 3 years (and getting slower).

I have identified ai authors by the change in output. It’s the authors who wrote 5 books in 5 years and 20 books this year that are really obvious.

And today Howard Webb, head of PGMOL, admits he doesn’t know the laws of the game, by saying that the goalkeeper touched the ball so it couldn’t be a foul, and therefore no penalty. Just one more reason the refs are getting worse, when their boss excuses anything they do.

Like I said, it’s really hard to play against 12, but I’ll say what I said when Gabriel scored: “Yeahhh, fuck you you fuckers.”

PGMOL: You’ve admitted to being a Liverpool fan, so you can’t ref any of their games. Let’s assign you to their biggest rival instead.

Honestly if I’m the Arsenal I’m staying in the dressing room an extra five minutes until the ref comes in and we tell him we won’t play with a biased ref.

Two fouls in a minute, almost identical. One given, one not. Guess which one the ref gave?

The thing about the penalty is that it is very obviously a foul. It does not matter if he got a faint touch on the ball. Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul to take out a player even if you get the ball first. Wish the ref knew the laws of the game.
