By doing this, he has given Japanese, Korean, German, Swedish, British, etc car manufacturers HUGE advantages because there are no 25% tariffs on those manufacturers. Just food for thought…..

They have no domestic cars of their own to sell to the U.S. They are sending American owned car parts back to the US for assembly and whatever American cars they assemble there. Regardless, they are American companies who are getting screwed.
