In honor of the one-year (and change) anniversary of I DON’T WANT TO GET ADJUSTED TO THIS WORLD I’ll be playing my only full-band, headlining show of the year at The Hideout in Chicago with Contorno and @marianrunk.bsky.social, who also have album anniversaries coming up.

Hearing country people connect with my music makes my day. I've got a lot of city-mouse/country-mouse impostor syndrome, even though on Thanksgiving a pony and a horse strolled through my mom's yard after holding up traffic on the state highway for a few minutes.

Also, my song "The Newest Soil" got a lovely write-up in one of my favorite weird-folk blogs. If you only ever hear one of my songs, you should probably make it this one.
