Excellent news. I met Desiree a year or so ago when she was in Kingston to help launch *Statesman of the Piano.* She gave me some suggestions for work on Black archives, which turned out to be crucial for my archives seminar. A real educator. Congrats Desiree -- Concordia is lucky to have you!
