Yup. Teams clearly getting tired towards the ends of the games, and they take advantage. It’s pretty crazy, but not an accident.

Beside normal hating, which is a big part of this to your point, I think you’re underestimating how many people hate the fact that their best player is a foul merchant. No one has ever “missed” that.

With Cle knocked out, Tatum hurt, and the winner of OKC and Den might be super tired and banged up after a long, tough series. It’s not inconceivable. It sucks. I think it would have lifted Steph into top 5 conversations, that would have been fun.
