So Donald Trump tells us he doesn't like Pierre Poilievre.
Lol.
The MAGA team know that a Trump endorsement is a political death wish. Poor Pierre. He's their boy and has no respect.
Don't get fooled. He is their favourite sock puppet.

MIKE LUCKOVICH APPRECIATION POST

@mluckovich.bsky.social is one of the greatest political cartoonists of all time. Thank you for 3 decades of scathing satire, remarkable insight and helping us all laugh to avoid weeping openly. 🙏

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Another reason why Pierre Poilievre is unfit to lead Canada.
His front bench are conspiracy nutters who are using the threat of an American takeover of our nation to peddle conspiracy drivel.
We need leaders with a vision for Canada.
Poilievre is too busy chasing the rage algorithm of conspiracy.

“the monthly cost of social housing is $613. This is starkly lower than $2,100 for a shelter bed, $4,300 for a correctional facility bed, $13,500 for a hospital bed. Housing people is not only a moral imperative but also an economically sound decision.” Kathy Moreland RN #onpoli

Charlie Angus says it all. 🔥🔥🔥

Highly recommend you take the time to watch all of this. All the reasons not to vote CPC.

Angus only refers to PP as “The guy who lives in Stornoway.”

If Canada is going to survive Trump 2.0, we'll need leaders who are ruthlessly loyal to the truth.

Bad news: Pierre Poilievre already signalling his willing surrender. #cdnpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2024/12/03/o...
Pierre Poilievre’s problem with the truth
When it comes to Pierre Poilievre's relationship with the incoming American president, the early signs aren’t exactly encouraging — not, at least, if you care about Canada’s ability to resist the grav...

0.5-0.8%. When you take a step back it’s striking how much of the discussion about the carbon tax in Canada - the easiest and least intrusive environmental policy intervention available, more or less, which conservatives say drives up food prices - is predicated on a total lie.
How do carbon taxes affect food prices? In our latest paper, @dr_jen_winter and I analyze both direct and indirect impacts across the entire food supply chain: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=5024885

It's the most detailed exploration of CTaxes and food yet! 🤓 #cdnecon #cdnpoli
