Just discovered my version of `dotnet-outdated` didn't support slnx files. I needed to update it to 4.8. Here's the command if you should need to do the same:

dotnet tool update --global dotnet-outdated-tool

or if you haven't installed it:
dotnet tool install -g dotnet-outdated-tool

More importantly, devs need to be able to read AI-written documents *and* feel empowered to change them.
Yesterday I asked a developer what one of the Acceptance Criteria in his story meant.
“I don’t think it applies, but AI wrote it.” He didn’t even seem to think about questioning or changing it.
Do you think every developer should learn how to write documentation? Does your opinion change with AI tooling being used more and more?

There is almost always a song in my head. Most days awake with a song in my head. This morning I knew not what it was. I could hum a section, sing but a couple words, but neither my wife, nor I could figure out what it was.

For those of you with medium-large production systems, how many Feature Toggles (Feature Flags) do you see/expect to see in your production code at any given point in time? How long do they live before removal? #dotnet

We do an exercise at offsites called Elephants, Tigers & Paper Tigers.
- Elephants are things that the group isn’t talking about but needs to
- Tigers are things threatening the team, risks
- Paper tigers are things that seem like risks, but aren’t

narrator: it was not, in fact, just "a Rob problem."
When I hear folks call a podcast a pod, or an episode of a podcast a pod, it's like nails on a chalkboard.

It's like when folks say "I did a blog" when they mean "I posted to my blog."

Yeah, me problems, I know.

#Movies do far as we head to #Halloween:
* Hocus Pocus
* Halloweentown (and some sequels)
* Betelgeuse
* Something Wicked This Way Comes
* Nightmare Before Christmas
What else should we watch?

I love that Fulton County Library has Firestarter by Stephen King, which was published in 1980, on their "New and Available Now" book list 😂 #books #library

Do yourself a favor; read the book before – or instead of – watching the movie. The book is way better, and is available at most libraries.
If you’re not a reader, check the library anyway, they may very well have it available as an audiobook for your commute.

College football announcers: “these teams met back in 1975 when…”
Man, these players’ parents were still in elementary school in 1975. Other teams from the same school/program met back then, but that has no bearing whatsoever on tonight’s game.
